Q: Do you require a contract?
A: Yes, in most cases we require a contract as well as a 20% deposit which is deducted from your total.
Q: How do I reserve my date?
A: We will reserve your date upon receipt of the signed contract and receipt of the deposit. Until then, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q: What if the music I want played is not in your repertoire?
A: Provided we are given enough notice, we will order the music (the music will be added to the total). If for some reason we cannot find the music or are not able to arrange the music ourselves, we will work with you to find a similar piece.
Q: Why is hiring a harpist generally more costly than other instrumentalists?
A: Owning a vehicle large enough to move the harp; time spent packing up the instrument, unloading and reloading; time spent arranging music since not much is written for harp; expensive upkeep of the instrument; These are all factors which contribute to the cost of hiring a harpist.
